Location is so key when it comes to your engagement shoot. Sure I can take great pictures of you anywhere but they will mean more if we're shooting in locations that have meaning to y'all. I have been all over the globe capturing love and will continue to do so. Locations can range from anywhere like the pizza joint you had your first date at, to Disney World or Paris, it doesn't matter. If it has meaning to you, then thats where we shoot. Also I want you to know that we can shoot at multiple locations. If you want to start at the brewery where you first met and then go downtown Charlotte for variety and a city vibe, then thats what we do. I believe there should be no limits in telling a couples love story and therefore I perform accordingly.
Bring your closet! Ok I kid but seriously bring all the outfits you want. We may use a few or we may use all of them but having options is always a plus. I typically recommend my couples bring at least 3 options each: a casual outfit, a dress up outfit, and a fun outfit. By fun outfit, it could be anything you want, maybe you went to rival schools and want to show that you're a house divided. Just an extra outfit that shows off who you are as people.

Couples session
I want you know up front that I have NO time limits on my shoots. Shooting people in love is what makes me the happiest, why would I want to limit that. I've never had time restrictions with my engagement shoots because I feel like it adds unneeded pressure on all parties to "get in, and knock it out." With me you wont have to worry about this at all.
"Let's get physical, physical, let's get physical," no but for reals, let's get physical! I always ask my couples if there's any activities that they love to do together. Maybe its playing basketball, it could be bowling, or it could even be go-karting, whatever it is, let's capture it. Engagement shoots are like "love adventures" and I'm always ready and willing to put myself in the elements to capture the images that best represent y'all as a couple. So wether this involves me getting drenched in a waterfall or being in the crosshairs during a paint-balling expedition, I will do whatever it takes to get the shots that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

If you're reading this that means you're actively searching for a photographer to capture the wedding of your dreams. But what if it rains? What if the venue you love the most has really bad lighting in the ceremony hall? These are serious and important questions as not all photographers in the game are skilled enough to handle situations like those. I however am. I've spent thousands of dollars and hours learning the in's and out's of flash photography. It's very important to be extremely proficient with off camera flash to be able to deal with these situations. Do not risk going with a photographer that "thinks" he or she can handle tricky situations. Ask to see their work. This is going to be the best day of your life and you should seek a confident wedding photographer that can handle badly lit situations. And always remember, great weather is not a lock on your big day, mother nature does as she pleases. When it comes to finances, I'm just like everyone. Weddings photography prices span a wide range. But as I'm sure you know, cheaper doesn't always mean better. This is your wedding day. It happens once. The events of the day, happen once. You get 1 first kiss that day, 1 first look, 1 grand exit, etc. You need to make sure you have a photographer that will do those moments justice. I always hate to hear about couples that wished they would've spent just a little more after the fact. That said, I believe my packages on the next package are all priced perfectly to make us all happy.
